1.3 Critiquing Data

The lesson was broken into two parts, the examples and my explanations were provided for students to think critically about the information they are receiving, and the second part where the students will work on the assignment. Since many students were struggling with creating a circle graph, I spent time teaching the students how to make a circle graph which will help them in a future assignment as well as this assignment. The assignment ended up working quite well with all students grasping the concepts of how easy it is for data to be misrepresented without it being incorrect.
